The Professional Female Athletes of the Women's Professional Rodeo Association will be running, not just standing, for the National Anthem at this year's National Finals Rodeo.
Our Mission
Honor Tags for Heroes is a program designed to honor those women who paid the ultimate price for serving their country. Custom made tags are worn by the top 15 riders on Military Night as way to give honor to those women lost.
This year we honor two Naval Aviators who were killed on October 15, 2024 during a training mission in Washington State.
Naval Aviator Lt. Serena Wileman and Naval Flight Officer Lt. Commander Lyndsay Evans represent the best of us. Their strong hearts and unwavering commitment to serve a cause greater than themselves is the best of America. They flew with the nation's security on their backs, and on military night we ask our top 15 to carry them on their backs for one final ride.
They have flown their final mission but let it be our mission to honor them and uphold the values they represent.
